Locals are saying the invitational event is poised to draw the region’s best dogs.

Anticipation is building for the King of the Ranges Invitationa Dog Trial. Held over 2 rounds on Saturday, with the top 5 going into the final on Sunday. The handler and dog with the most cumulative points will win.

The invitational gives working dog breeders and handlers the opportunity to promote their best genetics and showcase their well trained dogs in the competition ring.

This is one event for dog enthusiasts not to miss.

It showcases the versatility and and intelligence of working dogs and highlights just how essential they are to farmers and life on the land.
